Pimpri-Chinchwad is not a cheaper version of Pune's interiors market. It is a different one. Possession here is newer, towers are taller, carpet areas are tighter and better planned, and buyers are usually moving in immediately rather than renting out. That changes what a 2 BHK interior costs and where the money should go.
Here is the 2026 picture for Pimple Saudagar, Ravet, Wakad, Punawale, Chinchwad, Nigdi, Moshi and the rest of PCMC.
2 BHK interior cost in Pimpri-Chinchwad: the bands
A PCMC 2 BHK typically has a carpet area between 620 and 850 sq ft. Priced on carpet area:
- Essential — ₹7.5 L to ₹10 L. Modular kitchen with laminate shutters, wardrobes in both bedrooms, a simple living room ceiling with cove lighting, TV unit, electrical modifications and painting. This is a complete, liveable home.
- Mid-segment — ₹10 L to ₹15 L. Adds designed ceilings across rooms, crockery and shoe units, upgraded soft-close hardware, quartz or upgraded counters, a feature wall or two, better lighting and part of the loose furniture.
- Premium — ₹16 L to ₹24 L. Veneer or PU finishes, fluted and stone panelling, integrated lighting design, curated furniture, and bathroom or layout changes.
Most families furnishing a first home in PCMC land between ₹9 L and ₹13 L. Investors furnishing for rental typically stop at ₹5 L to ₹7 L with kitchen, wardrobes and painting only.
Room-by-room, on a ₹11 lakh 2 BHK
- Modular kitchen — ₹2.2 L to ₹3 L. Base and wall units, tall unit or loft, counter, backsplash, sink and hardware.
- Master bedroom — ₹2.2 L to ₹2.8 L. 8–10 ft wardrobe with loft, bed back panelling, side units, ceiling.
- Second bedroom — ₹1.5 L to ₹2 L. Wardrobe with loft, study or dresser, ceiling.
- Living and dining — ₹2 L to ₹3 L. TV unit, crockery unit, ceiling with profile lighting, feature wall.
- Electrical, painting and finishing — ₹1.2 L to ₹1.8 L.
- Foyer, balcony and utility — ₹40,000 to ₹90,000. Underrated in PCMC, where balconies are usable through most of the year.
Four costs specific to Pimpri-Chinchwad
- Society interior deposits. Newer PCMC towers run tight rules — refundable deposits of ₹10,000 to ₹50,000, fixed working hours, service-lift slots and debris charges. Confirm before you sign anything.
- Lift-restricted material sizes. On the 15th floor of a Ravet or Punawale tower, an 8x4 board may not fit the service lift. Work has to be planned around modular, factory-cut components, which is a design decision, not an afterthought.
- Snag-list overlap. Many PCMC handovers still have builder snags open. Coordinating your interior start with the builder's rectification window saves rework — and sometimes saves you paying twice for the same tile.
- New-construction moisture. A slab that was cast eight months ago still holds moisture. Fixing wardrobes against a green wall in Punawale or Moshi is how you end up with a swollen back panel in the second monsoon.
Where to spend, and where not to, in a PCMC 2 BHK
Spend on: kitchen carcass material and hardware, wardrobe internals, electrical planning, and waterproofing anywhere near a wet area. These are the things you cannot upgrade later without dismantling something.
Go lighter on: elaborate false ceilings in bedrooms, wallpaper in high-traffic areas, and heavy built-in furniture in a flat you may outgrow in five years. Loose furniture moves with you; a built-in TV unit does not.
Getting a real number for your flat
Carpet area, floor, society rules and the state of the builder handover change a PCMC estimate more than the locality does. Our team measures on site, lists scope line by line and gives a written band before any advance — which is why our projects finish close to the figure we opened with.
